Bricks in Space

One small step for man, one giant leap for Paisley!

We are promising a day out of this world in Paisley town centre this summer with our Bricks in Space Summer Trail!

Following on from the success of Jurassic Bricks last summer, we are marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a LEGO® space-themed adventure, the Bricks in Space Trail.

Running until Tuesday 13th August, there are eighteen fantastic LEGO® Brick models spread throughout town centre businesses as well as an interactive play zone and a selfie zone.

The town centre has been divided up into different galaxies with special hidden items which are orbiting different businesses within each galaxy on a weekly basis.

Armed with their space passports, your mission is to travel through the four galaxies to find all the Space models, plus there are stickers, activity sheets and goodies to collect as you make your way around the town.

Alongside our large LEGO® brick models, there are other Space items included as part of the trail and our local schools have been joining in the fun…making space items made out of recycled items!

The schools’ models are also on display throughout the town during Bricks in Space! You can follow their progress HERE!

Plus can you find our Space and Planet Buddies? Laika our Space Dog and Albert our Space Monkey are travelling through the galaxies with our Sun and Saturn Space Buddies – look out for them on your mission and check below or on our social media for clues to help you find them! They are on their final move this week as the Bricks in Space trail ends next Tuesday, 13th August, so make sure you head into Paisley town centre to find them!

Sun Buddy is on shopping for a new dance outfit in the only dancewear store in Paisley. You will find him on Causeyside Street in the Milkyway Galaxy.

Laika the Space Dog is getting her fur highlighted at a hairdressers at the bottom of New Street in the Virgo Stellar Galaxy.

Saturn Buddy is having a great time bouncing on beds in a local bed store. Find her on Lawn Street in the Cosmos Galaxy.

Albert the Space Monkey is having his hair trimmed in a hairdressers on Gauze Street in the Andromeda Galaxy.

Good luck space explorers!
