Paisley town centre Christmas Market
To mark Small Business Saturday, we will be holding a Paisley town centre Christmas Market Day on Saturday 7th December on the High Street.
Running on the day from 10am until 4pm, there’s a whole range of local businesses taking part including Cards Party Balloons, IVAD Gifts, John McKay Jewellers, Kettle Black, Paisley Pie Co, Paisley GINstitute, Print Centre, Rainbow Turtle, Summit Outdoors, Taste Buds Paisley, The Auld Atelier, Two Towns Down, What If and The Butterfly Room, Wildflower Florist and many more including Barnardo’s and St Vincent’s Hospice!
It’s set to be a great showcase of our local, independent businesses.
Plus we’ll have Live Reindeer so you can take your own FREE family photograph, plus a face painter and balloon modeller too, and we’ll also be welcoming back The Absurdists too!

Paisley’s Cosy Christmas Trail
We’re getting cosy this festive season with our Cosy Christmas Trail – Help find and name all our cute and cosy Christmas characters hiding in local business windows and you could win a prize with our FREE Christmas Trail!
Plus there will be a FREE Christmas Chocolate treat for every child who completes the trail!
And when you collect your chocolate treat at the last stop on the trail, the lovely folks at Bianco Nero on Gauze Street are offering a free sit-in kids’ hot chocolate for every child who has completed the trail!
Running daily from Thursday 28th November 2023 until Sunday 5th January 2024, pick up your trail leaflet from the Paisley First leaflet racks in the Piazza or Paisley Centre.

Reindeer
Santa’s Reindeer will be returning to Paisley town centre this Christmas and you can take your own family picture for free!
The reindeer will be making a special appearance during our Small Business Saturday Christmas Market on Saturday 7th December from 12noon – 4pm.
Christmas Movies
We’re joining with The Bungalow on Shuttle Street to showcase some of our festive favourites to help get you in the mood for the holiday season!
There’ll be a special showing of Home Alone at 11am on Sunday 1st December, and a Frozen Singalong at 11am on Sunday 8th December with Elf at 11am on Sunday 15th December .
Tickets for the children’s movies cost £2 but include a drink and a treat, accompanying adults go free (max. two adults per child)

Christmas Activities & Workshops
Plus we’re hosting free family entertainment on weekends leading up to Christmas with children’s Christmas craft workshops, face painters, balloon modellers and more!
On Sunday 1st and Sunday 8th December, Restoration and Creation on Brown’s Lane will be the venue for our Wooden Snowmen and Reindeer Workshop and our Wooden Gingerbread House Making Workshop, both sessions starting at 1.30pm.
Then on Sunday 15th December, What If on Moss Street will be hosting our Snowmen and Stars Craft Workshop between 12noon and 2pm.

Or join us at The Art Department or The Wynd Centre for our FREE Christmas Craft Workshops for children from 12noon until 4pm on Saturday 14th December – no need to book in advance, just drop in!
Santa’s Grotto
Plus, Santa’s Grotto makes a return at the Paisley Centre! Open Saturday 7th, 14th and 21st December from 11am – 3pm.
Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition
Wrap up warm, grab the family and take in the festive window displays created by our local town centre businesses, as part of our Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition.
To make sure you see them all, just grab a leaflet from our leaflet racks in either shopping centre.
Judging will take place on Saturday 30th November with this year’s Guest Judge, Paisley artist Celie Byrne.
