Paisley town centre Christmas Market
To mark Small Business Saturday, we will be holding a Paisley town centre Christmas Market Day on Saturday 2nd December on the High Street.
Running on the day from 10am until 4pm, there’s a whole range of local businesses taking part including Cards Party Balloons, John McKay Jewellers, Kettle Black, Paisley Craft Beer, Paisley Pie Co, Taste Buds Paisley, The Auld Atelier and many, many more!
It’s set to be a great showcase of our local, independent businesses.
Paisley’s Angels and Elves Christmas Trail
Help find and name all the Christmas Angels and Elves hiding in local business windows and you could win a prize with our FREE Christmas Trail!
Running daily from Thursday 30th November 2023 until Sunday 7th January 2024, pick up your trail leaflet from the Paisley First leaflet racks in the Piazza or Paisley Centre.
Don’t forget to get your free activity sheet too!
Paisley’s Big Christmas Weekends
We’re hosting free family entertainment on weekends leading up to Christmas with Festive Stilt walkers, Magicians, Jugglers, Balloon modellers, face painting, music and lots more!
Reindeer
Santa’s Reindeer will be returning to Paisley town centre this Christmas and you can take your own family picture for free!
The reindeer will be making a special appearance every weekend – come and say hello from 12noon until 4pm on Saturday 2nd December, Sunday 10th December and Saturday 17th December.
Snow Globe
And if that’s not enough, our FREE Giant Snow Globe will also be returning this year and will be available for FREE festive photos on the High Street on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December.
Christmas Movies
We’re joining with The Bungalow on Shuttle Street to showcase some of our festive favourites to help get you in the mood for the holiday season!
There’ll be a special showing of Home Alone on Sunday 3rd December, and a Frozen Singalong on Sunday 10th December with a double bill on Sunday 17th December – Elf followed by everyone’s favourite festive tear-jerker, It’s A Wonderful Life.
Tickets for the children’s movies cost £2 but include a drink and a snack, accompanying adults go free.
Tickets for It’s a Wonderful Life cost £5 including a welcome drink on arrival (select alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks)

Paisley’s Christmas
Renfrewshire Council has organised Paisley’s Christmas in partnership with Scotland’s Theme Park.
The programme will run from Thursday 30 November to Saturday 30 December (excluding Christmas and Boxing Days). There’s plenty of fabulous festive fun for all the family with so much to see and do across the town centre including an under cover outdoor ice rink, a magical outdoor funfair plus much more.

Santa’s Christmas Workshop
Santa’s Christmas Workshop will be held inside The Art Department on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December as well as Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December from 12noon until 4pm.
Enjoy a free programme of creative craft-making workshops, storytelling and fun activities for all!
Paisley’s Christmas Golden Ticket Competition
Shop Local this Christmas and you could be a winner with our Christmas Golden Ticket Competition!
We’ll have early bird draws with prizes of £250 town centre gift vouchers to be won on Saturday 18th and Saturday 25th November!
£1,000 of town centre gift vouchers will be up for grabs on Saturday 2nd and Saturday 9th December!
Then on the 12th Day of Christmas, five final winners will be picked to win £200 of town centre gift vouchers.
Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition
Wrap up warm, grab the family and take in the festive window displays created by our local town centre businesses, as part of our Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition.
To make sure you see them all, just grab a leaflet from our leaflet racks in either shopping centre.
Judging will take place on Saturday 9th December with this year’s Guest Judge, Paisley and St. Mirren legend Tony Fitzpatrick.
