Local schools to get involved with Bricks in Space

Local primary schools are being asked to get creative and get involved in our Bricks in Space summer trail!

We have previously enjoyed working with local schools on projects such as the Pride of Paisley and also the Paisley First Mascot competition.

Following on from the success of Jurassic Bricks last summer, we will be marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a space-themed LEGO® Brick Trail.

Bricks in Space will run in Paisley town centre from Saturday 29th June until Tuesday 13th August.

The town centre will be divided up into different galaxies and armed with their space passports, there will be facts for children to collect and puzzles to solve as families make their way around the town.

Alongside large LEGO® brick models, there will be other Space items included as part of the trail.

We are calling out to our local schools to see if they would be interested in combining the themes of Space and Recycling by making a Space themed object from recycled materials to be included in the trail.

This would particularly suit classes currently studying the theme of space or perhaps even an eco-committee project.  Each school’s name and the story of their model will also be displayed.
